This page explains how those products relate to Part 15 of the FCC's rules, where to find a product's FCC ID, and what to do if you experience radio interference.
All wireless electronic products sold on allmyteck.com — including WiFi-enabled hidden cameras, RF signal detectors, and other radio-frequency devices — are sourced to meet the equipment-authorization requirements of Part 15 of the Federal Communications Commission's rules governing unlicensed radio-frequency devices sold and operated in the United States.
This is the standard notice that applies to Part 15–compliant devices, and appears on or in the packaging or user manual of applicable products we sell:
Any FCC ID, model number, and full compliance markings for a specific product appear on that product's label, packaging, or user manual, and take precedence over the general statements on this page.
Every Part 15 device operates under two plain-language rules set by the FCC. Here is what each one means for you as the user.
Your product is designed and authorized to operate without disrupting licensed radio services, other wireless devices, or nearby electronics under normal use conditions.
This includes interference that may cause undesired operation — for example, a dropped WiFi connection, a distorted signal, or a temporary loss of function caused by another nearby radio source.
Because our catalog spans several manufacturers and device types, FCC IDs are disclosed per product rather than as a single ID for the whole store.
Where an FCC ID applies to a specific product, it is printed on the device housing, a printed label, or the battery compartment, exactly as required by FCC labeling rules.
Where physical labeling space is limited (an e-label), the FCC ID is instead disclosed in the product's printed packaging, quick-start guide, or an on-screen "Settings" or "About" menu, consistent with FCC e-labeling rules.
If you cannot locate the FCC ID for a product you purchased or are considering, contact support@allmyteck.com with the product name or order number, and we will provide the applicable FCC ID and, where available, a link to its public FCC equipment-authorization record.
Not every product we sell transmits a wireless signal. Here is a general breakdown of the RF behavior across our three product families.
Transmit video over WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) to a paired app; these are active radio-frequency transmitters subject to full Part 15 equipment authorization.
Cameras that record to onboard storage only (no wireless streaming) and standalone digital voice recorders do not transmit RF signals during normal recording use.
These devices primarily receive and scan for RF, magnetic, and infrared signals from other equipment; they are not designed to transmit data and are subject to Part 15 receiver provisions where applicable.
Where a GPS or cellular location-tracking accessory is sold, it transmits location data over cellular or satellite frequencies and is subject to full Part 15 (and, where applicable, cellular-carrier) equipment authorization.
Devices that comply with Part 15 have been tested and found to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when installed and used according to the included instructions. That said, interference can still occur in a particular installation.
No guarantee against interference. All My Teck and the manufacturers of the products we sell do not guarantee that any device will be completely free of interference in every installation. If a product you purchased causes harmful interference to radio or television reception — which can be determined by turning the device off and on — you are encouraged to try one or more of the corrective steps below.
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna of the affected radio or television equipment.
Increase the distance between the device and the affected receiver.
Connect the device to an outlet on a different circuit than the one the affected receiver is connected to.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help if the steps above do not resolve the issue.
Unauthorized modifications may void your authority to operate the device. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment under FCC rules. Do not open, alter, or modify a wireless device's internal components or antenna.
