Under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2511, part of the Electronic Communications Privacy Act), it is generally lawful to record a conversation if at least one participant — which can include you — consents to the recording. This is commonly called the “one-party consent” standard. Intentionally intercepting, recording, or disclosing the contents of a wire, oral, or electronic communication without the consent required by law is a federal crime and can also create civil liability.
A number of states require the consent of every party to a private, in-person conversation before it may be recorded, not just one party. States that are commonly cited as applying an all-party (or “two-party”) consent standard, at least in certain circumstances, include:
The exact scope, exceptions (for example, for recordings made in public or where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy), and penalties differ from state to state, and this list can change as legislatures act. Confirm the current law of every state where you plan to record before using any audio recorder on other people.
Nearly every U.S. state prohibits using a camera to record a person in a place where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy — such as a bathroom, changing room, locker room, or bedroom — without their knowledge or consent, regardless of who owns the property. Our hidden and nanny cameras are intended for lawful monitoring of common living spaces, entryways, nurseries, and business premises that you own, lease, or are otherwise legally authorized to monitor — not for use in private spaces without the knowledge of the people present.
Many states restrict placing a GPS tracking device on a vehicle or belongings you do not own or do not have legal authority over, and doing so without consent can constitute stalking or unlawful surveillance under state law. Our detection products are designed to help you find trackers that may have been placed on your own vehicle or belongings without your knowledge, not to help you track someone else.
Employers who monitor employees, and hosts or landlords who monitor rental or common areas, are generally subject to state notice and disclosure requirements in addition to the consent rules above. Audio recorders sold by All My Teck are intended for lawful personal note-taking, meeting documentation, and safety use; the purchaser is responsible for complying with any employer, landlord, or venue policy on recording, in addition to state and federal law.

All My Teck operates in line with the federal and state consumer-protection framework that applies to U.S. online retailers.
Under the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 435), we must ship your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, or offer you the option to cancel for a full refund if we cannot meet that timeframe. Our published estimate is 3–5 business days from order confirmation, made up of 1–2 business days of processing plus 2–3 business days of USPS transit.
Section 5 of the FTC Act prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce. We write our own product descriptions and pricing, we do not fabricate reviews or testimonials, and we correct listings promptly if we identify an error. Recordings and footage captured by our cameras and recorders are stored locally on the device’s own memory card, or on an app/cloud service that you control — All My Teck does not access, store, or view customer-generated recordings. Checkout and account information you share with us (name, shipping address, order history) is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, transmitted over encrypted connections, and never sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

It is not legal to record in spaces where someone has a reasonable expectation of privacy — such as a bathroom or bedroom used by another person — without their knowledge. Not at this time. All My Teck currently ships only to addresses within the United States.
Orders placed before our 7:00 PM MST cut-off (Monday–Friday) begin processing the same day. Processing takes 1–2 business days, USPS transit takes 2–3 business days, for a total delivery estimate of 3–5 business days.
